A great puzzle for my classroom
I purchased this for my second grade classroom. It is very fun and something that students can start and pick up again at a later time. It is helpful for students to use the numbers on the inside. It isn't easy for 7-8 year old students. It was fun to watch them think and work together.

Very durable for a puzzle
Very well made! For some reason I was expecting carboard pieces but no, its actually hard plastic puzzle pieces that connect perfectly with a satisfying click. Its held up pretty well, and my four year old was carrying it everywhere and occasionally rolling it. Well- today he accidently stepped on it, and it finally caved in. We pieced back together without a problem. Its a great size for my son to carry around and makes it easy for me to tell him to bring the globe over so we can look at it. My son is into spacd, so I will be getting the solar system 3D puzzle next.

Huge hit!
My 4-year old built this with help from us. We did it numerically and 180 pieces is a lot, so we helped by making piles of 10 for her so it wasn’t so overwhelming staring at a table of 180 white puzzle pieces looking for the next piece, and then she counted and connected them from there. 7-year old relative also built it but also needed help sorting. As kids get older or with more practice, I am sure they can build it by the picture and not numbers. Very good quality and the illustrations on the globe are perfect for kids. Highly recommend.

Awesome project for child to put together
This is an awesome globe! It comes together more like a model than a puzzle. The pieces are certainly puzzle shape, but they are numbered on the back so you use those step by step directions rather than relying on the image like a traditional puzzle. It looks awesome once it is all put together. My son (8) was thrilled to display it on his room. The countries are up to date and all the animal graphics are fabulous in detail.

Great for 6-8 year olds
I got this for my 8-yr-old son. He loves puzzles, so I thought this would be a nice challenge for him. I didn't realize the pieces would be numbered on the back, so that took a large chunk of difficulty out of it, but he was happy with putting it together and I love that he can sit the finished globe on his shelf. It does come with the stand (although the stand doesn't feel at all sturdy). Overall, I would recommend it for children about his age...much older and I don't think it is difficult enough to be a fun challenge.

Would give it ten stars if I could!!
The geek/nerd in me can’t begin to describe how much I looked forward to this coming in the mail and being able to do this with my kids. We LOVE puzzles and globes so there was no way I was passing this up. I thought it would have been hard for them to do and expected us to work on it over the weekend however the inside is numbered so you are just finding and following the number pattern. My seven year old ended up working on it on his own while I worked. I had him sort the pieces in groups of 30 (1-30, 30-60, etc). And it took him about 2 hours to do this start to finish. Granted he was up and down in between but he loved it! We both loved that he didn’t have to break it down but is now able to have it on his desk in his room I ended up buying two more. One for my neighbor who is turning 7 soon and one for my nephew who won't be able to use it for many years since he’s only a few months old but I didn’t want to risk not being able to find it then. The pieces are a hard plastic and so far this has not fallen apart. Well made and durable I highly recommend this for the globe lover in your life

Lovely toy/puzzle. The pieces do somehow click and stay in place. Definitely need to be able to count into the 100s, and have moderate fine motor skills, but other than that very straightforward (arrow on the pieces tell you where to put the next piece). When complete, it's a nice decoration or geography aid with lots of illustrations. My son (6 y.o.) keeps taking it apart and redoing it instead.
