Don't Shut Up!
I give this book5 stars! Symone's story and the path she took to further her career and more importantly to become an integral part of changing America are nothing short of amazing. This message to millennials is inspiring and exciting. Symone lets young people know that this is their time to show up and show out, to not take "no" for an answer and to boldly and unapologetically claim their space in the world. Using her personal experiences, the principles of perseverance and courage are relevant for any pursuit worth fighting --particularly if you want to become a change agent. This book will be my gift to all the millennials in my circle!

Ms. Sanders is an amazing young leader and very inspirational for all ages. This book is a must read for all ages. We all have a right to speak up and to use our voices as we agree or disagree. Speaking truth to power is relevant today and will be in the future. Ms. Symone D. Sanders is a phenomenal young leader and I look forward to seeing what she pulls out of her tool box in the future.
Great Read for Millennial Perspective
I am not one of those Gen X Millennial haters. Having had the opportunity to work with younger people, I decided to listen to them and was reminded of myself when I was young. This generation is passionate and smart and will change the political landscape to more mirror their ideals. I like Ms Sanders and throughly enjoyed this book, where she encourages activism in even the smallest corners of our country. This woman has worked hard to get everything she wants and tells us to do the same. Excellent read to get us moving! I can’t wait to see where Ms Sanders goes next in her career. I’m grateful for this generation.
Excellent writing
Symone D. Sanders is a wonderful writer. She is also a gutsy, smart, thoughtful, and fair person. I loved this book. I recommend it to everyone whatever political party you support. It is a book for everyone; but I especially feel it is important for young women. I am purchasing a copy for my 17 year old granddaughter.

This book makes me feel good! Ms Sanders is a brilliant young Black woman. She comes from Omaha's famous Girls, inc, chapter. This is a call to action. But is also a great journal of one person's rise to success and how she did it.
