Former President Trump also urged Republicans to strongly fight against the new voting right, which would amend the voting rules and include a provision that independent committees would appoint.
"This monster needs to be stopped," Trump said.
Even before the election began in November 2020, Trump repeatedly denounced the vote by mail as "fraud" and opposed this form of voting.
